Abstract

The article analyzes the risk factors for adolescents’ vegetative dysfunction from the perspective of the modern realities in Ukraine. The atmosphere of general instability, an increased rhythm of life, a significant influence of gadgets and media lead to violations of the autonomic regulation of organs at the disease beginning and further appearance of organic pathologies, which affect adolescents’ personality, reduce their quality of life. Parents charge most strongly their children with negative emotions, as the family represents whole society in a miniature display. Children are socialized in their families. Given the fact that, in the recent decades, there is a tendency for more often occurrences of vegetative dysfunctions and their various manifestations at adolescents, the problem is very urgent.

The risk factors for vegetative dysfunction occurrences are found on the mental, social, biological planes and they affect the measure of adolescents’ negative emotional expressions. Adolescents’ vegetative dysfunctions should be considered not only as a medical problem, but also as a socially important one, since it underlies all chronic somatic diseases, accompanying and complicating their course. At adolescence, vegetative dysfunctions are accompanied by violent emotional manifestations, personality disorders. This is due to the peculiarities of adolescence, which is accompanied by increased physical and psychological loads, the need for adaptation, changed life stereotypes. All this poses a certain danger to an adolescent’s health and psychological stability. By analyzing the works of national and foreign researchers, as well as the life histories of adolescents, composed based on the diagnostic talks, we identified both congenital and acquired risk factors for vegetative dysfunction formation. The diagnostic talks helped us collect psychosomatic anamneses in order to translate adolescents’ somatic symptoms misunderstood by them into meaningful connections with the external and internal histories of their lives.

The interest in this problem by scientists and doctors is related to the fact that the state of the autonomic vegetative nervous system determines the sanogenetic capabilities of the body.

In the context of our study, we draw attention to the most recent theoretical and practical studies on brain neuroplasty associated with negative thoughts, which are one of the risk factors for disease. The modern research in neuroscience, epigenetics gives an optimistic prognosis for psychological assistance and the ability to manage any negative life situations, which will prevent or stop the progression of adolescents’ vegetative dysfunction.
