Abstract
The main essential traits and principles of the genetical modelling method are described in the article. It is proven that this method is one of the few in psychology (together with the longitude), which gives the opportunity to investigate the psychical development and thus its essential peculiarities. The possibilities of the method for the developmental and counseling psychology are revealed.
