Abstract
This paper examines current trends and approaches to the formation of gender- role attitudes and perceptions high school students about the future of its family life. Displayed gender differences in ideas about the future of marriage and family roles. It is shown that the main difference lies in the fact that at this age the family is more important values for girls than for boys. It should be noted that the ideas about marriage students of the 9th and 11th grades differ substantially but dynamics of these ideas shows only girls. This indicates that girls develop ideas about the future married life ahead of their development in boys. The resulting material indicates that young people 15 – 17 years (boys and girls) different ideas about the role of men and women. This difference can be explained by the existing tradition, which reflects the different requirements and different social roles of men and women, understanding by the young people their future married life are not realistic and vague.
Recent changes in the socio-psychological culture of communication between adults and children, spiritual and economic crisis affecting the formation and moral principles of life and disorient the younger generation in the selection of the values. Senior pupils looking for new models for building their future family because parental family for most of them are non-standard and they are not going to imitate family relationships of their parents.
