Abstract
The article deals with the scientist’s analyses of the reasons for choosing the profession of persons who are unemployed and are in the centre of employment in order to receive it. The factors that cause the condition of the unemployed, especially in the social and economic tensions have been revealed by the author. It has been specified that the choice of profession is always a crisis one, as is linked to the resolution of a number of contradictions between individual and social needs of the individual and labour market demand. A pilot data has been done by the following criteria: age, sex, education. It made it possible to define and confirm the impact of socio-economic factors (economic and political situation in the country, changes in the labour market, residence, parental education); social situation; social environment (education, life, family, emotional, professional); inner - originality of mind of the individual; social experience; professional experience; personal characteristics (conscious and unconscious motives, depending on the interests, goals, needs, values, identity, professional interest, personal professional plan, volitional qualities, foresight, common sense, determination, planning, assertiveness); and their interaction, as manifested in the evaluation of social change and individual abilities of its professional demand.
