McDonald’s an exact statement, is that a person feels absorbed by it and oppressed in the state of a life crisis.

It is noted that in the essence the life crisis is a constant accompanying of human life, a source of its development and self-improvement, self-realization; that, as an example of an existential crisis (which is one of the types of life crisis), is a crisis of the meaning of life, which is abnormal, difficult, long lasting with mainly destructive consequences for the personality and her life; it is a sharp feeling of despair and hopelessness from the real impossibility to satisfy their most important existential needs (in particular, the realization of the meaning of life) and existential values.

It is emphasized on the necessity to differentiate the concept of the actual age crisis and the crisis of life’s meaning and the irrelevance of their association or identification; that only the results of this crisis, that is, actually, the situation of overcoming it, can be considered relatively positive, and the "development" of such a crisis for the person who is experiencing it is not "constructive", perceived as a catastrophe, a tragedy or even a collapse, and not just a revision of her priorities, values and life sense.

It is concluded that the life crisis is a profound person’s experience the state of inability to continue the usual life linked with the necessity to re-evaluate the former values of life and its meaning, changing of the self-perception and finding an acceptable way out of the situation that has happened; however, the process of its experience, as well as its completion, is not always constructive or optimal for a person. The reason for the crisis is a difficult life situation (caused both by external factors and internal situational changes), which makes impossible to continue the life path of personality (the realization of her goals, values and meaning) in the usual way.

}, number={1}, journal={PSYCHOLOGICAL JOURNAL}, author={Chuyko, Halyna and Komisaryk, Mariya}, year={2019}, month={Feb.}, pages={41–56} }
