The theoretical models of the academic training of psychologists are characterized. The effective experience of implemented polyphonic goal of psychologists-consultants’ educational-professional training is investigated. The reasons for existing contradictions in modern organizational, theoretical and methodological approaches to training in psychology are considered. The multifunctional action of the educational-professional procedural vector is determined; this vector determines conditions, content, and an operating mechanism that generates future psychologists-consultants’ professionally specific “world view”. The experience of multi-level, “happening” and “psychotechnical” approaches to future psychologists-consultants’ training is described. The comparative teaching approach for psychological disciplines is characterized. Attention is focused on a lecturer’s role in transmitting to students not only knowledge and skills, but also the lecturer’s own “world view”, values and meanings. The article proves that the controlled psychological and pedagogical macro genesis of students’ “world view” help future psychologists and consultants discover and understand those facets of their own perception that are dominant because of their unique parafernal experience and that will be projected by them onto a client’s perception and understanding.
