The purpose of the paper is to reveal the content of correction-compensatory work in the study of natural science by children with visual impairment.
The article substantiates the necessity of phased formation of natural concepts, in which at the initial stages there is a combination of visual and tactile perception, involving all stored analyzers.
It is determined that the formation of natural concepts in children with visual impairments consists of the following consecutive stages: sensation − perception − representation − concept. Characterized by the specifics of educational activity and correction-compensatory work at each of the mentioned stages of formation of natural concepts. Presented levels of development, which are passing the already formed natural sciences.
It is determined that the development of subject-practical activity in the process of survey, observation and research of natural objects contributes to the optimization of the educational process in the study of nature course by children with visual impairment. Correctional influence has the use of a system of rules, algorithms, instruction cards when examining objects of nature.
Correctional value of operations of comparison and classification of natural concepts, establishment of cause-effect relationships is substantiated. To improve the efficiency of the operations of comparison and classification of natural objects, it is necessary to teach children with visual impairment to use appropriate algorithms for action. In order to develop the ability to establish causal relationships, the teacher must create educational problem situation.
}, number={8}, journal={PSYCHOLOGICAL JOURNAL}, author={Palamar, Olena}, year={2018}, month={Sep.}, pages={131–143} }
