Bühler, both foreign and domestic, is represented in this article.

It is revealed that in the analysis of the problem of understanding the meaning of life, which is the basis of the way of life of person, scientists are virtually divided into two groups: one trying to prove that related specific meanings of concrete life situations form the meaning of life, while the second (and we join their opinion) are convinced that the meaning of life is primary in relation to the situational meanings and impart them an existential meaning. The opinion that talking about the meaning of life in general (common to all) is inappropriate (because there is no «life in general») and that the meaning of life is transcendental (subordinate to superior sense, Logos, meaningful to other people) unites these scientists. We considered, that private situations and events of life are conceptualized by human in the context of the integrated meaning of life, being dependent on this most important value that makes human life meaningful and without which human life transform into a biological existence.

The conclusion about an integrative role for the meaning of life as the most important human value in the formation of the continuity of person’s way of life – a possible variant of human’s realization of the meaning of his own life through the implementation of permanent life-purpose and situational choices and taking responsibility for them, and for what human will become is made. It is the presence of meaning which gives a person the feeling of sensation of existentiality of being.

}, number={1}, journal={PSYCHOLOGICAL JOURNAL}, author={Chaplak, Yan and Chuyko, Halyna}, year={2017}, month={Feb.}, pages={100–111} }
